How to Change Your Bound Email on BitTap

If you need to change the email linked to your BitTap account, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

1. Open the BitTap official website or mobile app.
2. Use your current email and password to log in to your account.

Step 2: Access Account Settings

1. After logging in, click on your profile avatar or account icon in the top right corner.
2. From the drop-down menu, select Account Settings or Security Settings.

Step 3: Locate the Email Change Option

1. In the account settings page, find the Email section.
2. Click the Change button next to your current email.

Step 4: Verify Your Identity

1. For security reasons, the system will ask you to verify your identity.
2. You may need to input a verification code sent to your current email or complete two-factor authentication (2FA).

Step 5: Enter Your New Email Address

1. Once identity verification is complete, enter the new email address you want to link to your account.
2. BitTap will send a verification email to the new email address.

Step 6: Confirm the New Email

1. Open the new email and check for a verification message from BitTap.
2. Click the verification link in the email to complete the email change process.

Step 7: Email Change Complete

1. After completing the steps above, your BitTap account will be updated with the new email address.
2. You can now use the new email to log in to your account.
