On the BitTap platform, users can become copy trading leaders, allowing other users to follow and replicate their trades. Below are the detailed steps to help you successfully become a copy trading leader.
Step 1: Log In and Access the Copy Trading Page
- Log in to your BitTap account.
- On the main interface, click on the [Contracts] menu and select [Copy Trading].
- Click [Become a Leader] to start setting up your copy trading project.
Step 2: Set Up Your Copy Trading Project
On the setup page, you will need to configure the following information:
- Nickname: This nickname will be displayed on the copy trading marketplace as the name of your project.
- Portfolio Description: Provide a description of your trading strategy and investment goals. This helps potential followers understand your trading style.
- Project Type:
- Public Project: Your project will be visible to all users for copying.
- Trading Capital: Enter the amount you wish to use for your copy trading project (minimum 1,000 USDT). Once confirmed, the funds will be transferred from your spot wallet to your copy trading account.
- Profit Sharing Ratio: As a leader, you can earn a percentage of the profits made by your followers. Note that this ratio cannot be changed after the project is created.
Important: After checking the service agreement, click Confirm to complete the setup. Once the project is created, the funds will be transferred from your spot wallet to the contract wallet. You can click Start Trading to enter the copy trading interface and begin trading.
Step 3: Manage Your Copy Trading Project
After creating the project, you can manage it through the [My Copy Trading] page. The key features include:
- Adjust Balance: Add or withdraw funds (the maximum amount you can withdraw is the available balance minus 1,000 USDT).
- Close Project: If there are any open positions in the project, you will not be able to close it. After all positions are closed, the system will automatically stop copy trading and settle the profit sharing.
- You can also visit [Contract Account] — [Copy Trading] to view detailed project information and follower data.
Step 4: Risk Management and Limitations
- Follower Limit: Each copy trading project has an initial limit of 200 followers. If your project reaches the limit, you can apply to increase the follower cap.
- Leverage Limit: When the project’s assets under management (AUM) reach or exceed 100,000 USDT, the maximum leverage for the project will be limited to 10x.
- Project Duplication Protection: Copying the nickname, description, or trading strategy of high-leverage or large-scale copy trading projects is prohibited. Any project identified as a duplicate may be hidden, and BitTap reserves the right to make judgments on such projects.
